Every query runs against the seller's live data environment — not a purchased copy or cached snapshot. AI grounding, RAG workflows, and analytics buyers all receive real-time results that reflect the current state of the world.
The problem was clear from both sides: companies with valuable proprietary data had no way to reach AI buyers — and AI companies had no way to source live proprietary data from thousands of SMBs at scale.
We realized the solution wasn't a data marketplace where sellers list and buyers negotiate. It was active data brokerage infrastructure: build pipelines into sellers' live environments, manage all relationships, handle every payment and contract, and sit permanently between both sides.
Spartera was built from that insight. A platform where proprietary data becomes revenue for sellers — and live, queryable data for AI buyers — without either side doing the work to make it happen.

Spartera was founded by Tony DiLoreto to solve the data commerce problem he experienced firsthand — valuable proprietary data on one side, AI companies that desperately need it on the other, and no infrastructure connecting them.
Built the core data commerce infrastructure: Spartera Marketplace for analytics commerce, Endpoints for live data delivery, and Connect for MCP-native AI agent access.
Launched the Spartera Marketplace with sports analytics (10,000+ analytics) and predictive weather data from Weather Trends International — demonstrating live, source-direct data commerce at scale.
Launched Spartera Endpoints in early access — enabling sellers to publish production-grade, monetized API endpoints from their live data. Expanding Marketplace verticals through active seller sourcing across finance, healthcare, retail, and operational data.
